Impressions

5 Napkin Burger doesn't claim to be a beer bar, nor do they take any excessive measures to cater to the beer geek community, save the occasional beer dinner. It just so happens this is a place with outstanding burgers and a well-above-average beer list. While the burger may sit in the spotlight here, the beer selection is actually better than some others on our list. With only a few taps on hand, the enthusiasts should skip right to the bottle menu where you may find yourself taking more than just a moment to mull over the selection. The vibe is almost that of a high-end, trendy diner and the bartenders are enthusiastic, though maybe not likely to wax poetic about dry-hopping. This place is an all around good time, and sure to please beer geeks and non-geeks alike.

Beer: 7 / 10

Vibe: 8 / 10

Service: 8 / 10

Other Thoughts: Limited reservations but always accepting walk-ins. If you're okay with eating at the bar, you have a better chance of reducing your wait time, as this place is always hopping. Yeti and Racer 5, need we say more?
