    Impressions

The expansive wall of taps is usually the first thing to catch a patron's eye when entering the Ginger Man. There's something very warm and welcoming about the atmosphere- the brass and wood color scheme somehow sets a familiar scene like a Norman Rockwell era painting, with a slightly more updated take on the 'antique' feel. A lounge off to one side of the room kicks the comfort level up an even greater notch. Finding great beer is never a problem at the Ginger Man: with 70 taps and 150+ bottles, there's something here for every beer lover, and more to spare. Knowledgeable bartenders walk you through the selections, give recommendations and offer samples.

    Vibe: 9 / 10

    Beer Selection: 9 / 10

Other Thoughts: The Ginger Man fills up quickly at night, so stake your claim at the bar early on. The food selection offers little beyond a few salads and sandwiches, so make your dinner plans elsewhere. The house beer is brewed especially for the Ginger Man by Captain Lawrence Brewing, and is quite popular.
